Every organization today relies on connectivity, secure data, and efficient collaboration tools to stay competitive. We created this Tech Quick-Check as a simple 10-question self-assessment to help businesses of any size spot quick wins in connectivity, cybersecurity, cloud management, and cost control.
It only takes two minutes — no forms, no signup, just insight.
Step 1 – Answer “Yes” or “No” to Each Question
There are 10 total questions. Simply mark each one:
Yes – You already do this well.
No – You’re unsure, don’t do it, or it hasn’t been reviewed recently.
Connectivity & Network Resilience
Do you have redundant internet paths at each location to stay connected if your primary circuit fails?
Can your network automatically reroute traffic if one provider goes down (SD-WAN or failover solution)?
Are remote sites or remote employees connected securely through VPN or SD-WAN rather than consumer-grade connections?
Security & Compliance
Do you have 24/7 monitoring or alerting in place for cyber threats or unusual network activity?
Are you confident that sensitive files — like client data, payroll, or financials — can’t be accidentally shared externally?
Has your team completed cybersecurity awareness training (phishing, password hygiene, etc.) in the past 12 months?
Cloud & Collaboration
Are your key business applications (CRM, ERP, project management, etc.) integrated with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or another cloud platform for collaboration?
Do you back up your cloud data (email, files, project docs) to a separate secure environment, not just within the same provider?
Cost Control & Vendor Management
Do you maintain a current inventory of all internet, telecom, and cloud services — showing ownership, renewal dates, and costs?
Have you benchmarked your telecom or cloud costs in the past 18 months to confirm you’re getting competitive pricing?
Step 2 – Count Your “Yes” Answers in Each Category
Category | # of Questions | How to Interpret Your Score |
Connectivity / Network Resilience | 3 | 3 Yes = Keep (strong) 2 Yes = Consider (some room to improve) 0–1 Yes = Fix (priority area) |
Security & Compliance | 3 | 3 Yes = Keep (strong) 2 Yes = Consider (some room to improve) 0–1 Yes = Fix (priority area) |
Cloud & Collaboration | 2 | 2 Yes = Keep (strong) 1 Yes = Consider (some room to improve) 0 Yes = Fix (priority area) |
Cost Control & Vendor Management | 2 | 2 Yes = Keep (strong) 1 Yes = Consider (some room to improve) 0 Yes = Fix (priority area) |
Step 3 – Review Your Results
Keep – You’re in great shape. Maintain your current approach and review annually.
Consider – You’re doing some things well, but a few areas may need updating or closer attention.
Fix – This area has clear gaps or risks. Prioritize improvements soon to reduce cost or risk.
Step 4 – Decide on Next Steps
After reviewing your results, you can:
Share the checklist with your team to discuss any “Fix” areas.
Schedule a 15-minute review call with our team to walk through your results and explore practical next steps — no cost or obligation.
